Welcome to the online home of the Walt Morey Middle School Band. The purpose of this website is to help provide information about our growing band program and also improve communication by providing parents with a place to get all the times and dates they need to know about much sooner than the morning of the concert. "By the way, Mom...I'm going to California with the band. We leave today and get back in a few days or something. Will you sign this permission slip?"
Approximately 120 students in grades 6-8 are involved in our Concert Band, Varsity Band, 6th Grade Band. Many of these students are also involved in our award winning Jazz Band as well as various chamber ensembles.
The success of our band program is due to the hard work of the administration, the parents, the community, the educators, and most importantly, our students.
